Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is a landmark property in Tsavo West National Park, famous for being the first lodge built inside a Kenyan national park (opened in 1962). Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is part of the Serena Hotels chain, known for its blend of luxury and sustainability. The lodge is the first in East Africa to be fully solar‑powered. Its design incorporates local volcanic stone and traditional African art. Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is located inside Tsavo West National Park, approximately 240 km from Nairobi (4 hours’ drive) and 250 km from Mombasa. It is also accessible by air via Kilaguni airstrip (2 km from the lodge).
